Looks like the MTA contracted a company to build this at their Second Avenue Subway Information Center.

Exactly why the MTA is always over budget; because the pay for crap like this when they could have just contacted one of the route developers here and given them the necessary materials to throw together an openBVE route for free...

Kevin's SAS is perfect. Hard to believe its been out for half a decade, it features the "futuristic look" with tunnel & station lighting.

I decided to take a look at the simulator today. Here's a basic description of the control stand. There is a single master controller, similar to that of the M7 and M8. Power is applied by moving the controller away from the operator, and brakes are applied by moving the controller towards the operator. There is no emergency position on the controller. Instead, there is a red emergency stop button below the controller. There are also two green door enable buttons, one for each side, and a yellow horn button at the far top left corner. Sounds are heard through a pair of headphones.

It's basically similar to playing OpenBVE in arcade mode.
