General BVE/OpenBVE / Re: Can't see route in Route Viewer

Loaded the route into BVE (not Route Viewer) to see if I could generate an error log.  I got a short log with several errors (files not found) but got a critical error "The relative path contains invalid characters".  Can't even attach that file (very small).  Still get error "Upload folder full"

I'll try again.  Nope   Keep getting message "error has occurred.  Upload folder is full  Try a smaller file"

I hope that I did this right.  Here is the file.  Thanks for your interest, YankeesPwnMets.  It would not let me post the csv file, but here is the plain text copy.  Hope this works.  No, it says that the file is too big!  Any way to work around this?

General BVE/OpenBVE / Can't see route in Route Viewer
« on: March 08, 2016, 05:44:50 pm »
I was trying my hand at coding a route in csv and I have the "with structure" all coded and I have put in the first 6 or 7 lines of coding for "with track", but when I try to open the route in Route Viewer, I just get a black screen with none of the options except "F7 - Open Route". I don't see anything.  Is there anything obvious to anyone that I may have overlooked?  I'd appreciate any help that I can get.  Thanks :(

Yes, there is a speedometer in the upper right hand corner of the default train, but in this particular route, there are always speed signs, station info or other things over the speedometer.  So, you cannot see the speedometer for most of the time that you are running the D Line.  I was thinking about removing these signs for the route file, but don't want to mess up a great route.

I just downloaded the updated D Line and I have a question.  No matter what train I choose to drive, there are no interior lights in the cab while in the tunnel.  You cannot see how fast you are traveling!  Is there a option in the route file that would make this happen?  I appreciate any help.  Thanks

Hey, Ztraintobroad,
I did like you said and everything is working correctly.  Are you the developer of this route?  Looks great!  Well, thanks for the help.  Am going to run all the way to 242 St right now!

I downloaded the IRT 1 Line and it is in a zip file format.  Inside the zip file are a large assortment of files, some that I think I need and some that I already have and some which are completely empty.  For example, after opening the zip file, you have 3 files.  First is the object file (7Ave) which contains 3 files (NYCT Objects, Westside and Westside A).  Inside the Sound file(IRT 7AVE) are a number of files (2A,2B,2I,2J,2X and AN).  As for the Routes file (NYCT-1), the is a file SMEE which is empty and a file NYT which contains the 1 Line Route CSV and a file named 1 Train.zip.  This file has 1 file (Railway) which contains 3 files (Object, Route and Sound). In the object file are 3 files (Culver, IND Valley Stream and IRT 7 AVE).  Under Route, there is another CSV file for the 1Line and under Sounds are 2 files, 1 which contains the file ARR(which appears to have announcements in it and NB  which contains file 1A which is empty.  My question is :  How in the heck do I install this route?  It seems very confusing.  What do I need to install here?  Any help would be appreciated.  Thanks

I have a question.  I downloaded the J/Z and M lines for BVE Station.  After installing, I do not have the trains asked for by the route.  The J/Z needs an R160A (4CARS) and the M needs an R160 (8CARS).   Any idea where I can find them or should I just rename the R160's that I already have?  Thanks for the help.

If you are running Windows XP or later, try installing the files as administrator.  Right click on the file, click properties, click the Compatibility tab,  check the box "Run This Program As Administrator", click apply and ok.  Hope this helps you.

BVEStation Network News / Problem with trainset
« on: December 18, 2012, 04:28:34 pm »
I was trying to run the B Line 205 to Brighton Beach (SMEE) and I get an error that the train is not found.  I looked at the route and it calls for the R68 train.  In my train folder I have an R68A and an R68 OpenBve.  There are no other downloads for R68 trainsets in the download section.  Should I remane one of the trains or rename the train in the Route?

I just downloaded the Airport Express Line and it says that I need the C151 Train to run this route.  I went to the website mentioned in the readme, but there is nowhere to download this train.  Any help would by appreciated.
