BVEStation Network News / The Acela, Dash-9 and P42 trains have been released for openBVE!

On top of the Q, here is a little treat for you guys. I packaged Fan Railer's Acela, Dash-9 and P42 trains up and there are now ready for download right here in BVEStation's downloads section!

Keep in mind, until an Acela exterior for openBVE is made, this train will have Acela sounds and an Acela cab, but a French TGV exterior as a placeholder. Credit goes to BVERB from across the pond in France for the exterior.

Here's some videos I uploaded to youtube recently...

November 6th:

The T/O made a mistake at Atlantic and stopped with the first car in the station, not the last car. He pulled up after stopping and made the correct stop. The C/R I had going northbound was the same guy on this run apparently; he was talking with a track worker aboard the train about how T/Os frequently do this mistake.

Transit / Livonia Elevated RFW Video

On July 1st, the Low-Vs went out to New Lots Avenue on the (3) line. This allowed for a rare RFW view of the Livonia Elevated, which I took advantage of.

Transit / MTA Rules of Conduct Petition

I would advise every person here to sign this petition for posting the Rules of Conduct in NYCT Subway cars and buses.
It would finally put an end to the harassment of railfans trying to take pictures, something that we have been trying to attain for some time now.

General BVE/OpenBVE / OpenBVE Lives On.

OpenBVE development is not dead.

Yes! It is true.
A handful of BVEStation developers are going to continue OpenBVE development collaboratively with bveworldwide.

For now, this just entails a name change and some minor tweaks, but once we get our bearings, we hope to continue full development where michelle left off.


Also, if you can help in the development of OpenBVE in any way, PLEASE PM ME.

With the release of the newest version of OpenBVE, managed content is now a feature present in the stable version of OpenBVE.

Will the BVEStation downloads be set up to be downloadable by OpenBVE's managed content system in adddition to the ability to manually download content (To provide for continued BVE2 and BVE4 compatibility) ?

Station Talk / Route development status widget

In light of the recent bombardment of questions about route progress or development, I would suggest that some sort of link to the "Status of Routes" thread on the Official NYCTA Development Center Subforum be added to the main page (The link should be a noticeable feature of the front page so people wont miss it).

All these recent questions have really cluttered up the forum, and since people seem unwilling to search for the answer to their questions themselves, a big in your face link to the thread would really improve the quality of the forums in my opinion.

I went on the forums on my iPhone once and I got an iPhone-optimized version of the site.
For some reason that version doesn't exist any more, any chance that it can be reinstated?
