R142B-1 and R143 Remake
« on: August 10, 2011, 05:28:28 pm »
I was inspired by all the developers and moderators, especialy admins to make a R143.

I saw BStyles R143 Panel and I will ask him if he would like to Donate this for this Project if not I will ask the R160 Panel Creator for Permission to modify it.

I will also be using some sounds from the 1st R143 which I will also ask for permission.

I will be creating an exterior but sounds are first.

If you look around the forums, there's an R143 that's already in development by Mr.Railfan.  ;)

How about the R143 by SIR North shore? You can use that (ASK PERMISSION FIRST) than all you need is to re-work the exterior

Wrong, IIRC, R143s run in 8 car sets. It would be 8111-8118. and BTW, 8111 is not a cab car. Use 8109 or 8113

Pacific385 is right. R143's only run on the (L), and the (L) only operates 8-car trains. Anyways, good luck with this train...

I've also seen them on the (M).  They might not run on the (M) anymore though cause it became part of the 6th ave line.

They are NOT on the (M), they were ONLY on the M Shuttle not the (M) to Bay Parkway, IIRC that was only a test, only R160's run on the (M), the (M) having R143 did not affect the move to 6 Ave, that idea wasn't even discussed yet when the M ran 143

As I said they don't run on the M anymore.  Although I have seen a R143 (M) before a while back, and yes it was an (M) shuttle IIRC but that is still an (M).

To add on, The R143s were on the (M) shuttle until the R160s started being delivered to East New York in 2007.
