The R160 Alstom for OpenBVE
« on: March 17, 2011, 05:05:17 pm »
As many of you know, I am updating the R160 Alstom for OpenBVE.

As stated in the other post, I am currently working on new side signs for the exterior view.

I have a question for you guys: What do you think is a good font that I can use to accurately simulate the side exterior signs of the R160?

I've tried using the Luminator bus fonts from RTS CNG Command on NYCTF, but they don't really look like the R160 letters...

Any ideas?

For the side signs, I would recommend using the actual R160 side signs themselves from pictures.

Great news! By the way error, I have a exterior texture for you.

And by the way, will you fix the motor sounds? You left out an extra drop and you should speed up the motor sound noises a bit.

Try another LED font, it isn't always that complicated to replicate stuff

http://fontman1982.angelfire.com/index.html  try using those, i recommend using the 214/216 MBTA Route display sign (scroll down a little bit) right click it/save link as.../(C:)/Windows/Fonts or click the download below to make it easier lol

Believe me. We noticed lol. That's a detail JayJay forgot to add to the exterior. Not a big deal though, it's nothing that can't be done.
