Here is an update for the canopy work, specifically windscreens. I was thinking of just placing the station sign over the existing windscreens, but I decided to add a bit more detail by adding different windscreens to make the canopy look more closer like the real life counter part.

Full length canopy. The square holes will eventually contain mesh, and the black strip will contain the station name sign. The reason why the strip is black is so you see the words on the sign when on the platform, as the sign will be placed right in front of it, but will be black if the camera is behind the canopy and looking towards the station.

Windscreen with space for wire mesh on the right

Windscreen with space for wire mesh on the left

Black strip for the sigh in the middle, space for wire mesh on the left and right

Updated version of the currently used windscreen

You can check this spreadsheet for all the dependencies for each route. It also covers trains and has links for them all.

Not many people visit the site much anymore, so if you want custom car numbers, you would need to find someone who knows how to build them, and contact them personally. A train developer might be able to help you, but it is up to them, as they might/will have other projects that they are working on that will that priority. If you can't find someone, you might need to build the car numbers yourself.

The route Looks great! Whenever the route is done, its done, don't worry too much about when it will finish  ;)

For the switches, to get the points of the switch instead of manually moving them later from a curved rail, you can use a Track generator from here. It comes with a ton of options, and you can build curved rails in it too.

Since Mudwrestle is working hard on the post-GOH 32s, he has left me in charge of the Redbirds! I've been working hard on improving the sounds, interior textures, and exterior textures. The updates that I have made to the train include:
  • New sounds
  • New interior textures
  • New photorealistic cab, now with working speedometer!
  • New photorealistic front route rollsign
  • Tweaked the side rollsigns
  • New front
  • New side textures
  • Scratchiti on the side windows (Thanks Justin!)

Stay tuned for some progress photos!

The L line is a bit halted and I can't really stick to the schedule like working on it every weekend, switching constantly between different projects is very disturbing.
I decided to post some updates that I did a while ago. The route is still being worked on but very slowly:

It has been a while since it was posted, but since some people occasionally check on here, I figured I would post the video here if they have not seen it on Youtube yet. This is the full view of the route, with plenty of stuff in it that is a WIP. If you have not seen it already, watch like and subscribe, and if you have seen it already, make sure to like the video and subscribe for more!!
