The southbound K line is in development since this summer it's a rename of H line since the H line runs in the Rockaways.

K will start 55th Street/10th Avenue then curve south on 8th Avenue then run along the A line to Chambers St then curve southwest to Hudson River and passes under Ellis Island then it goes Elevated 1 mile before curve south on Broadway in Bayonne NJ then goes back underground to crosses Kill Van kull River to Staten Island then it goes elevated again on Richmond Terrace and Jewett Av then continues on Jewett Ave and continues Bradley Ave after it crosses Victory Blvd then Bradley Ave becomes Brielle Ave and routes ends at Forest Hill Road in New Springfield, Staten island.

the section south of Bowling Green to Forest Hill Road will be 3 tracks.

it's not difficult but it is tedious since his converter doesn't perform batch conversions. And the BVE 5 suite seems to still be a work in progress, the converter is still in it's beta stage, so hopefully he will address the problem and add b3d support.

This should also be a push for us to start coding in newer formats. Sure to some rw may be easy to code in and that's cool, but b3d objects and csv objects share mostly the same code, just slightly different commands. It's about time we ditched the .b3d format

my newer objects i used CSV formats.

We should have the R44/46 done by the time this is done I presume ?

I doubt it. But like 4 Express stated, you don't neccesarily have to use an R44 or R46 for this route.

BTW, since we now have a Rockaway Park version and a Far Rockaway version, will we also have an updated Lefferts Blvd version?

that will be when both Rockaways is done.

So, if I am not mistaken, this route will have both an R160 version (with the automated announcements and the 2006 and 2011 versions like Mr Railfan mentioned) and a standard version with conductor-made (non-automated) announcements? And also, it will be the same as what is seen in Mr Railfan's videos (with the cab darkening and TJay's new signals) except it will have the new textures?

Yes i will be implementing the darkening , automated announcements and Tjays new signals [with a few custom made ones] after the new textures have been implemented by jayjay and Blue18 . Basically after they are done, they will send it to me so i can apply all of the signals , etc.  . Im also thinking of adding in a few weather themes like Rain , Fog , overcast sky and maybe snow.

yes Railfan you can add that stuff atfer detailing done also their will be 2 versions of A line one will have regular signals and other version will have Tjay's design signals.

Will the (A) just get new objects and textures or will the entire route be reworked?

The route is getting reworked using new objects and textures.

And to be clear, that's the curve just leading to 80/Hudson and the train was most likely a A with a broken sign. With that there should be no more conversation about this. More updates (on topic) will be coming soon.

that train in that picture is the A because that train have 10 cars
