Transit / Something odd about the R46s
« on: May 24, 2011, 12:12:01 am »
Ok so I have been taking the R46s on the R to work and I been noticing it has a whirling motor lately and I find it quite strange because it doesn't have a Westinghouse motor. It has a Pullman motor. Its so strange it was # 5741

I know that's kinda what I mean lol  :o sorry for the confusion because I usually get to look into the motorman's cabin at Dyre avenue because its always exposed or they just leave the door open sometimes.  ;D

The R143/160 have the same stick on the far right side whereas the R142 has in directly in the control panel infront of the motorman and its usually on the right side.

Do you mind telling us the route your trying to run?

It's the 2 train you can tell if you look at the picture it has a lot of 1, 2, 3 train stops

Cool I dig that you always seem to come though with the Panels.  . . yours are by far the most realistic.

I'm really loving the progress JayJay but I got a small off topic question. After the D is done are you going to do the B because its really short since the B and D are tthe same in the bronx and manhattan. Or are you going to do a collaboration of the B & Q? Other than that I admire your work keep at it!  ;D ;D ;D

Now that's what I call a train? Quick question though... now is the train going to have regular sounds or the whirrling motors?
