Title: How to start route from Different Station, Please Help!

Hello,
How can I begin a route from a different station.
For example the Q line from Astoria to Brighton Beach= how
do I begin the route at Canal Street??

The reason I am asking is because in the Hmmsim app you cannot 'Skip to a station'

Do I edit the .csv file or do something else?

All help is greatly appreciated.

Yes, you can edit the .csv route file. You need to locate the station command files and for all the stations you want to skip, place a "P" in the first timetable command entry.
So you would change:

Quote

,.sta Ditmars Blvd-Astoria;7.3600;;0;-1;0;ats;Broadway\Q57\Ditmars_dep.flac;15;50;

To:

Quote

,.sta Ditmars Blvd-Astoria;P;;0;-1;0;ats;Broadway\Q57\Ditmars_dep.flac;15;50;

Do this for all the stations preceding canal street and, if properly done, you should start at canal street when you load the route.
