After several days of riding and observing the R142 cars on the 2 line, I was able to take the existing R142 motor sounds for OpenBVE and adjust the inverter frequency changes to the proper speeds that they change at in real life. This is the final product. Clip shot on the old BVE IRT 2 Line from Flatbush Avenue to 42nd Street Times Square.
OpenBVE HD: New York City Subway R142 Alstom ONIX AC Propulsion Sound Modification
All sounds were recycled from previously released iterations of the R142, and I do not take any credit for recording/creation of those sounds. All I take credit for is the motor sound volume/pitch vs. speed code and a few physics adjustments. Feel free to use this code in the R142 that is being developed here.

That's how its supposed to sound but can you perfect the R142a motor sound Fan Railer?

The R142A is more difficult to work with simply because of the structure of the sounds that need to be combined. To be honest, I thought that the sounds that came with SIR's NTT trains were pretty decent.

Right and another thing, you know that background sound the R160 uses? Implement that to the R142. See how that comes out.
