Inital Release date: March.
Current Date: July 24

Any updates since March? No.

There's an R160 that was updated to look more 3d, so download that one for now until they release this train. Don't rush them.

Is the R142/A still being developed? haven't heard anything new about it for a few month's, not trying to rush any of the developer's of the train.

Well I can't even run this train, I was running at 3 fps, but I can run the R68 at a decent 55 fps How is that?! I tried putting my openbve graphics to the lowest as well as the viewing distance, but it only takes it up to 10 fps

This train runs much better then the 68 .  I get 16 on the r68 and 20 maybe 22 on the r142as as for frane rates for you it might be another issue

Very nice work! I'm quite happy with the frame rates. I have 40fps in the cab view with maxed anti-aliasing level. And 25fps in exterior view. But it's kind of weird I can't go above 40fps even with low detailed trains and anti-aliasing turned off. Even though my specs are: i5 6300HQ 2.30Ghz, Nvidia GTX950M 4GB and 8GB of RAM. I feel like my OpenBVE is locked to 40fps for me. I'm sure I can run the game 2 times better with these specs. Weird.
Otherwise great work! That's a very nice train!

Have a nice day!

It works fine for me on my MacBook Pro and I hope that a plugin for Mac users will be out ( because destination and line sign only change when I accelerate or brake )
PS: when I extracted the file it says that the sound folder is corrupted, does that happened to anybody else ?

The only frame issues i have is on High detailed routes like the 6Line. I played on the 4 to woodlawn and i had 200+ fps on it.

I run a 6700HQ at 3.5 GhZ with a GTX1070 and I hit the same as you do lol. Just the way the game is optimized I guess.

Great work on the 142. Hopefully this is the start of more releases the rest of this year.
