I just finished sending Manuel the different seating layouts for the MNR and LIRR versions of the M7. Development is coming along smoothly, and I shall be taking time after work this week to be hitting up the Hudson line for pictures and more sound recording. I'll keep you guys posted.

Also, here are the images I sent to Manuel. If you have any corrections for these seating layouts, let me know. I did this on the fly within the last hour, working solely off of the limited pictures I could find on the internet, so I won't be able to 100% confirm these are the accurate configurations until some time later this week. LIRR M7 first; MNR M7 second:

Awesome work guys! I ride the Hudson Line often so I'm really psyched to see how this comes out.

Another ride-along / motor sound sample video. This time, I had my speedometer app on my phone active so I could document the proper pitch vs speed changes for acceleration and braking. The preview video for that should be up tomorrow evening. Stay Tuned:

Ok, sooner than I thought, but why not? Using temporary cab and exterior for now. My half of this project (sounds and physics) is now 95% complete:

Thanks to the hard work of Manuel, my fellow OpenBVE development cohort, we are pleased to present the initial exterior for the M7 electric multiple unit. Over the coming days and weeks, we hope to flesh out the interior with an accurate seating layout and generate a 3D cab. I also hope to develop an LIRR version of the M7, as right now, only the MNCR version exists in BETA. Stay tuned for more news and updates =)

Another one. I'm thinking I should change the run sounds a little bit, since the one heard in this video and the previous one sort of drowns out the propulsion. What do you guys think?

OpenBVE HD EXCLUSIVE: Bombardier M7 EMU WIP Temporary Cab Showcase (11/4/14 Cab Ride)
Adding a semi - static temporary cab just in case the 3d cab development runs into trouble down the road. So far, only the brake pressure gauge is animated, and I will begin working on adding a digital speedometer in the near future. Meanwhile, we will work on procuring worthy images to begin 3d cab development. Stay tuned =)

Because I know y'all just wanna sit down and watch a 4 hour cab ride video in its entirety LOL. If you do, or even if you don't, enjoy =) Also, if you want to skip around the video, go watch it on YouTube and expand the description; I've placed a table of contents with timestamps in it:
