If I'm not mistaken, the R36 was hosted here at one point. Until it returns, you can download it here (http://www.c3.hu/~kid/bve/nyc.html). (scroll down for train)

Actually, there is. The original R142 and R142A by Edward Yee are available here (http://www.c3.hu/~kid/bve/nyc.html). As usual, scroll down for the trains.
