It's about time those new textures were incorporated into the interior, BStyles!  :)
One question, how do PNGs improve performance? Wouldn't it be the opposite?

PNG Images offer a smaller file size than BMP images, and also support transparency. However, I had a few problems with that the other day, so no, this will still be sporting RGB transparency. I must say though, without RGB transparency the train's quality shot sky high, but oh well.

Starting work on the interior. Salvaging some of the older textures, along with brand new ones. And by changing all of the textures to PNG, I've noticed a drastic improvement in performance.

Man, that is looking great already  ;D Just a question, will it be possible to change that interior rollsign too, aswell as the exterior rollsign?

Aaron is currently working on the rollsigns, for both inside and outside. Once the model is finished, I'll send it his way for animation.

The quality looks amazing! I can't tell if that gap on the windows is actually there, or if it's good texture work.

Its all about perfect photo-realism, and this exterior achieves exactly that. I'm looking forward to more updates because it looks like this project is going very well  ;D

Styles, are you coloring the window blue to make it possible to see outside the train or your leaving it the regular color?

By the way that wall is phenominal. Realism is a definite part in the construction of this triain. Awesome work to everyone.

Why would any train developer that is making an exterior and interior NOT make the windows transparent?  :o

One thing I was thinking of the past day or 2 I'm not sure if this idea will be implemented or was suggested or thought about by anyone but it would be cool to add the
LED on the rollsign like the 62A's on the number (7) line and it can be turned on or off controlled by the same button/key used for lighting.
Interior Lights off=LED lights off
Interior Lights on=LED lights on
just a thought! Great work Styles!

The only thing that bothers me about 4 Express's post is that the LED would have to to come on not only when the lights are on, but when the side rollsign is set to (7) because the (1), (3), etc trains don't have that LED. And that might not be possible, so my assumption is that the LED can be permanently drawn on just the (7) rollsign  ???. But if it IS possible, that would be great  ;D  I'm really curious to see what the finished exterior/interior will be like :D

Guys, can we worry about the major things first, like actually getting this train completed, hmm? Later on, we can concern ourselves with the minor details like fictional animated rollsigns and LED circle/diamond indicators and the like.
