Try to put real wheels on this one like on the r46 project.
-
It would be nice if this had high definition textures lol

Great start. Keep it up!

Thanks everyone. I took your idea of getting the wheel archive off of wikipedia but I need some help. Are you on Facebook Rikabs?

Wow didn't expect this, looks great and definitely feel free to ask if you would like to use the sounds from the R142A v10. ;)
I would try to make it like the R38, where with 1 button you can control the route # and another for the destination. I haven't had too much success with that or the animated signs.
And nelson, those are high-def graphics.. it's just they did not have anti-aliasing on when they took those screenshots.

This is what I was telling you about before. Mike did most of it but i added some changes. Yes I would like to use your sounds so I will change the name on the train text file.

Really nice train your making

Thank the whole crew. Mostly thank PuertoRican88 for his 3D construction.

Looks real nice! You guys gonna leave that 62 roof on there or is that just a placeholder?

Wish we had more IRT train routes..

Wish we had more IRT train routes..
There are already a bunch of IRT routes in development, the (1) is making progress and there is also a nice (4) in development by BStyles. The rest of the IRT routes are also in development, but they are just very, VERY idle.

There's a difference between having routes in development and actually having them.
-
No there isn't.
Eye candy+patience=benefit. Good job on the project so far there, Manny.

Actually there is. We can't play a BVE route that hasn't been created yet. Please note that this isn't a dig at any developer or anything. It's just an observation.

Thank you for seeing my point.

As has been stated, there are IRT routes in development. However, these routes would get done faster if the community contributes instead of complaining. I have been working on updating my highbridge line, which is an IRT route, so that you would have IRT eye candy to hold you over until the real routes are completed. However, that project just as the real IRT projects have been stalled because of repeated requests for straight photos of IRT walls and no one has attempted to help out by getting some. We as developers cannot provide you with eye candy without the proper textures. I know for a fact none of you want to see and IRT route with IND walls. Then it's not IRT now is it? The same goes for the BMT routes. The walls are like IRT. Until we can get the proper textures, you will just have to wait.

ALL BVESTATION MEMBERS:
If you wish to have more IRT routes coming out, you have to contribute content so the developers have something to work with!

Wish we had more IRT train routes..
Just a minor side note:
The following skeletons are constructed with progress updates:
Uptown (2) is constructed up to 125th Street
Uptown (3) is constructed up to 145th Street
Uptown <6> is constructed up to Parkchester.
Downtown (6) via the (4) is constructed up to Nevins Street.
Uptown (5) out of Crown Heights will be terminating at 149th and Concourse via upper level. It's completed up to 125th

I need your email there are some skeletons I made that you can probably tweak for me

Cool Man Keep Up the Good Work. We could use more content for the IRT division, but do you know that there is a version just like this called the R142B?

A.K.A the R188, the modified R142A to go onto the (7) Line. It was made for BVE, it is on Trevor Day Gaming Network
-
But it has been removed due to inaccuracy
-
Actually it was not removed, I just checked and it is still up. It is in the DRTA New Technology Trains section
-
No the R188 isnt there
-
I don't know
(http://s18.postimage.org/q1lfzjsxz/a1234.png)
(The "R142B" is the same thing as the so-called R188, the name R188 was just removed, but it is still the same train)

ummm.... no. The R142B is NOT the same thing as the so-called R188.
The train that is now called the R152 is what used to be the R188.
-
Actually, there was an older version of the R142B (Which I happen to have on my computer), called the R142B-R188.
Proof:
-
Your proof seems to be non-existent.
And even so, I am referring to the present state of the releases.
-
If my proof is non-existent, then why do I have a train called R142B-R188? I could swear I did not change the name of the folder, I downloaded it on January 15, and that is actually what it was called before it was renamed to just R142B.
-
You must be mistaken, because the R142B was released as the R142B only.
Per the words of the creator of the R142B as of 1 minutes ago, the R142B doesn't have, and never did have, any relation to the R188 at all. You must have renamed that train a while ago and forgotten about it.
-
I do not know what he was talking about then, I have 101% GOOD FAITH belief that the version of the train I have is related to the R188. Google Chrome saves all downloads in a folder, so I have located the file of the train I downloaded on January 15 and it IS called the R142B-R188, I could see it with my own eyes. The train even has a photorealisic R188 panel. I could go as far as posting a YouTube video of the old version of the R142B that I have if you want. I am not even trying to lie or be rude/defensive here, I am just 101% certain.
-
Getting back on topic....the R142A will have a properly installed roof thanks to BStyles and PuertoRican88.
3D Wheels have been implemented by CT1660/NYZ3R0DAY
-
Nice can't wait :) :)
-
im a fan of the r142/a. so can't wait. hope its realistic as possible :-/
-
I am uploading an update on the R142A by PuertoRican88, MUDWRESTLE, BStyles & myself.
Please stayed tuned.
