It's been a long time since I posted in this thread. It's also been a long time since I even did work on this project, or even been on this website.
As a guy who likes to finish what he starts, I almost feel obligated to continue this line. And although it's gonna go against my better judgment, I'm going to share with you guys what's going on, and may even release the project on this website.
Few things I'd like to get off my chest: In my humble, personal opinion, this site, fanning itself, routebuilding, they are ALL nowhere NEAR as fun as they used to be. Maybe it's because I've grown in the 4-5 years I've been on this site, and others who have grown with me feel the same. I'm a college student, like some of the admins and others. And I also work, like a lot of you. Look at the recently banned BStyles, he's overseas in Guam exploring the other side of the globe while serving his country. And he's only a year or two older than I. Stuff like that makes me wonder what the hell I'm doing with my life. Making train routes? Twig is living his life the way he wants to, and doesn't seem to stress himself about railfanning at all. Rayvon is back and forth on here, and who knows where the heck Joe is. LJ is doing what he's always been doing, getting high grades and high salaries. Imanuel is just doing him, typical cases and rib-breaking stories of Manny being Manny (Red Sox fans know what I'm talking about).
There are days when I feel the lore of being a railfan, and there are other days when I'm ashamed to even consider myself one. And I know I'm not the only one who feels this way. Who knows, maybe I'm just bitter. Maybe we're all just bitter. BVEStation had a good run, 5 years of innovation, friendship, and pride. But all good things must come to an end, as it is the end of an era as we know it. Some of the guys from that era have been banned, others just decided to try other things. But whatever, it's all for a computer game right?
Case in point, I'm going to try and give it my all to try and complete this line or get as much done before I go back to school at the end of August. Be on the lookout
