Station Talk / Re: Making All Stops : Volume One Giveaway Topic #3
« on: October 07, 2012, 08:45:35 pm »
My favorite line would be the (N) because I would get off at 59 Street. Most people would assume I would stop at 8th Avenue because it's an Asian neighbourhood and I'm asian too, but I get out at 59th which sometimes leaves the people who assumed wondering why I got out at that station.

My least favorite line would be the (R) for having a local route. It takes a long time to get from Bay Ridge to Woodhaven Blvd in my opinion. It takes about 1+ hour/s
I completely agree with you, the (N) is my favorite, I think its efficient and least favorite is the (R) becuase it is very inefficient and is a all local line. Cmon, waiting 20 minutes for the (R) during rush hour while 2-4 (N) trains pass by, that's pathetic.

Yes,yes! Very realistic. Me likes.  ;) Hey just a thought; On the older rail cars, you guys think there is a way to make the lights flicker on/off when the train trucks go across interlockings?
There is a way to do that. You just need to code it in the train and then in the route at every rail gap

Oh, your work is really looking good then.

I think you might be missing a dependency. Go here to check that you have all the dependencies: http://www.openbve.org/Download
- The SDL dependencies already come included with the installer for windows.
- Mono is for apple systems such as Linux and Ubuntu.
- You will need OpenAL and .Net 4

I still don't understand how your overclocked system is running below my laptop with a 525M.

Am I the only one loading the R46 with no problems?
Mine works well when my 540M works.

I've heard from a friend of mine that it works for him too but for me both of my virus protection apps red-flag the downloaad, saying the file is corrupt in some way or another. It just doesn't make any sense to me either. That's why i figured you guys may have had some insight on why this  is happening. I thought it maybe from my own error somewhere but then I thought how could I go wrong with a self installing file, but I guess I may have botched this one too. Lol :-[
Well, when you go to download it, you can temporarily disable both apps then go to download and install the file. Then delete the .exe file by left clicking on the file once then pressing SHIFT+Delete to delete it permenantly (so the virus apps won't pick it up in your recycle bin). Then re-enable both apps. See if that works

the train you have like r68
Let me reexplain this:
- Using a bullet from the internet
1) Find an image of the route bullet you're looking for.
2) Right click the picture if you're looking at the pic in a browser and click Copy Image.
3) Open up the following file in paint: Your R68 Folder\Exterior\FrontD.bmp
4) Click "Resize" and replace the 2 "100" values with 1
5) Paste the image by clicking the paste icon OR Pressing CTRL and V at the same time on your keyboard
6) Save the file (DO NOT CHANGE THE FILE NAME)

-Using a picture saved already on your computer
1) Open up Your R68 Folder\Exterior\ and look for the FrontD File
2) Rename that file to anything
3) Locate your image and Right click it
4) Select Copy
5) Go back to the R68 folder\Exterior and paste the file
6) Rename the file to FrontD. (Make sure its a .BMP File otherwise it won't work)

Transit / Re: (F) Train to Lefferts Blvd ~ Why?
« on: September 08, 2012, 01:21:01 pm »
I believe it's because they have to pay people to do it and stuff? This F to Lefferts is only temporary, right?
Yea, this weekend only so far

i don't get it to paste bullet to the route what do you mean im new to bve
Then I would recommend you to try this option first then:

You could have also just re-typed one of the other bullets to frontD while changing the original frontD to something random. That's how I changed it since the train was coded to dispaly whatever bullet lies under frontD.

Tell us if it works
