Most developers in here aren't rush working their project routes or trains. So there is no due requirement or if you make that then different story as stressing you out and worrying. lol

UPDATED: OpenBVE Hempstead Branch
« Reply #76 on: February 25, 2015, 09:21:14 pm »
There has been an update to the OpenBVE Hempstead Branch. The route now uses an older, less detailed track texture. This should significantly reduce lag throughout the route, especially in the Jamaica area.

Don't worry =). You're just seeing a lot of skeletons because they are easy to code. All of that part of the branch took a total of just a few hours to code, as it doesn't have any real scenery. We're also working on the New Canaan Branch and a little bit of HBLR while we work on this, so all of our time isn't going to just one project. =)

Quick route development update: At the moment, the New Canaan Branch is being worked on far more than the Hempstead Branch. The release of the route to Penn Station will possibly accompany another LIRR Branch, such as the Ronkonkoma Branch. We will be sure to keep everyone updated on new developments as they come ;)

Yet another development update: Right now the route is undergoing some changes in detailing to make it more accurate. Things such as platform lengths and scenery are being updated to make the route feel more "real". One more thing is that the route has been developed both to Atlantic Terminal and Penn Station, but the Atlantic Terminal release will be first due to the fact that it is far less detailed than the route to Penn Station. I hope everybody's enjoying the current release, and stay tuned for more updates =).

Right now, the platforms are all at their proper length. Signals are being added throughout the route, and some changes are being made to scenery. We hope the next release will be a huge improvement on the previous releases. Stay tuned for more =)

Sounds wonderful. Is the Atlantic Avenue Viaduct going included, and if so, will it be an elevated subway style structure, or something different?
No wonder that ant gets around so fast! He has his own subway.

Most likely, yes it will be included. What style it will be will depend on our object availability.

Right now development is going good. All of the stations have fences, where appropriate, and the name boards at stations with island platforms have posts connecting them to the ground, so there will be no more of those annoying floating signs =). Stay tuned for more updates =).

Development on the Hempstead Branch is coming along very well right now. The route is undergoing detailing work to make it seem more realistic in future releases. The next release to Atlantic Terminal will happen soon... with many new updates to make the route much better than previous releases. Please stay tuned for more information, and feel free to ask any questions =)
