I'm leading to think that this is definitely a compatibility issue...

I see that you made a topic about this on the openBVE forum. Why not post all the screenshots (not the useless ones) on there? It'll give them more information to work with. Plus, the openBVE community should be able to help you out with your problem better.

If they can't find a solution to your problem then yeah, the best thing to do is to get an older version of openBVE.

I downloaded Stable Version 1.4.0.0 too and I do not get that problem, I have Windows 7 though so it is most likely an incompatibility issue with his operating system.

Same here. I downloaded the latest version today and I had no problems.
As for the compatibility issues part, I'm not so sure. Maybe someone with more knowledge in BVEStation/openBVE forums could confirm that.

Being Windows 7 can't be the problem.  I have XP/Vista on other systems and I run them fine.  As for that problem, I've never really experienced one like it.

I also have several problem with this new openbve. For me, all the sounds are messed up. The air, airzero, and the hvac/loop sounds are all way too high. The annoucements are too low. Any help would be appericiated. Thanks :)
