BVE for Android & iOS Devices RELEASED
« on: August 18, 2014, 04:24:13 pm »
Hello,

Recently an app called 'Hmmsim' has released a convertor than can convert BVE routes to play on mobile devices.

Instructions can be found here:
http://m.blog.naver.com/ddc01137/220094899113

I am in the process of making download links for routes that currently work for this simulator.
The links will be posted here shortly

PLEASE FOLLOW ALL INSTRUCTIONS IN THE LINK.

Have a good day

It's very unfortunate that Hmmsim isn't compatible with openBVE routes, as all of the new material coming out now in multiple countries is now openBVE-only. Despite this, excellent news!

Actually the following OpenBVE routes are compatible (so far):
J Z to Broad Street
N Q to Coney Island
B to Brighton Beach
D to Bay 50 Street
F to 179 Street

Once I do more testing, I will post which ones are compatible.

Anyone have an idea when I start the game, the view is on the track and the train is not working? No accelerate or brake..nothing works?
The route is fine..but can't get anything to move.

Slide up and down on the right side of the screen for the brake, on the left for the power. There's a help screen that can be called up by tapping the question mark.

This is what happens when you install Portal 2 on an R160 computer.

Mkoyf helped me out. Turns out it was the way I converted the file. Everything is good now. Thanks

If you guys can make a full list of compatible openBVE routes and trains that work in Hmmsim, please do. Going to add a wiki article.

Don't go through the trouble of trying to make OpenBVE routes work on  HmmSim as the developer has long announced that a 2nd version (under development) will support OpenBVE routes out of the box.
