Installing SiTrac and Westinghouse Propulsion Systems
« on: November 06, 2014, 08:05:25 pm »
So, tomorrow I'm going to be installing the SiTrac and Westinghouse propulsion system for OpenBVE, on the R160 and R68 respectively.

How would I go about installing the Westinghouse propulsion system? I heard something about copying motor files and editing train.dat, but I'm at a loss of what to do. I heard from Fan Railer in a YT comment that you copy the motor and brake sound files and then edit MOTOR_P1, MOTOR_P2, BRAKE_B1, and BRAKE_B2 by copying the respective lines from the train.dat in the archive to the current train.dat for the train folder. Is that it, or is there more to it than that?

I have the SiTrac thing down pat, I'm simply going to copy the files from the 7z archive from Fan Railer and then throw it in a directory.

Thanks for any replies in advance!
Aah! God damn this 15 year old desktop PC!
