openbve animated led StripMap
« on: March 11, 2013, 07:42:31 am »
 Hi all,

I'm new to the forum and openbve.  I recently started creating simple objects and am interested in creating an animated led map similar to the video OpenBVE - R142B 7 LCL StripMap Testing

I'm trying to do something similar but for the hong kong mtr trains (similar to MTR M-Train [A259-A290] journey from Prince Edward → Yau Ma Tei (» Yau Ma Tei)), but am having difficulties working out when the train enters and leaves a station.

Can I ask you how you did the animation because i'm having trouble working out how to change the animation based on station distance.

The animation isn't automatic, it is operated using a button. The strip maps that have been made are advanced using the 2 button.
